REGISTERING YOUR CHILD TO PLAY RUGBY

REGISTRATION FEES 2020

Our 2020 online registration process is now open.

This season the club has implemented its own registration form to compliment the Rugby AU, Rugby Xplorer online registration and payment process. So that we can capture all the information that we need as a club from parents and guardians or volunteers to ensure the safety of all members.

Families are required to complete a short online registration form to provide the club with some additional contact details and to ensure that players and family members acknowledge the club rules and respective behavioural codes of conduct. 

Returning or new members and players transferring from other local or interstate clubs. Simply need to access the App on their mobile devices or via the Rugby AU portal link you can find by clicking wherever it says "Register Now" Alternitavely you can download the Rugby Xplorer App from either the App Store or from Google Apps and select the Racing Rugby Club of Melbourne as your club and you'll be able to register and pay in just a few short steps. 

Returning or new members are eligible to receive the 10% Early-Bird discount if they registered prior to midnight on 20th February 2020*. OurFamily Membership discounts are once again available when registering two or more players this season.

TRIAL MEMBERSHIP (Covers preseason training) = $12.00 inc. GST

GIRLS RUGBY TOUCH 7's Player Membership 2020 = $95.00 inc. GST

GIRLS RUGBY 7's Player Membership 2020 = $95.00 inc. GST

UNDER 6 – UNDER 7 Player Membership 2020 = $150.00 inc. GST 

UNDER 8 – UNDER 10 Player Membership 2020 = $195.00 inc. GST

UNDER 11 – UNDER 16 Player Membership 2020 = $230.00 inc. GST

A 2020 player membership part payment option, is available tofamilies needing a little more time to pay. 

UNIFORMS PLAYING SEASON 2020

Socks and playing shorts can be purchased for those who are new to the club, whilst jerseys are provided to players before every match then collected by the team manager for washing. Additional socks and shorts or our navy training shorts are optional and can be purchased as a bundle for $36.00 or separately, along with training tops for $35.00, and kids hoodies for $45.00.

AGE GROUPS

in 2020* playing age groups will still primarily be based on child’s age as of the 1st of January 2020 (see Playing Rugby) however Rugby Australia and Rugby Victoria have implemented across the contact rugby age groups a weight and height based system under the RA Safety Structure and a formula they have developed to ensure all players have the best opportunity to enjoy the game at a level which is relevant to them.

The process for capturing a player's weight and height information requires you to now input this information using the online registration form. So please make sure you have your child's weight and height these details available at the time of registration.  Otherwise you will be unable to complete the registration of the player at the first attempt.

*Teams are formed based on the number of players registered before the season commences, and in some circumstances the club may choose to combine with another local club or an age group where necessary.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

In 2019 Rugby Australia introduced the Rugby Xplorer registration portal as a replacement for Rugby Link which has been the primary registration portal for players, coaches, match official and volunteers since 2015. In 2020 there are some enhancements that have been made making it even easier to register multiple family members and part pay fees.
