Everything we do is centred on juniors. From our first season with four teams on the field, Racing has grown into a welcoming home for boys and girls from age four and up. Our focus is simple and deliberate: help kids learn what to do, learn how to do it, and develop the confidence to do it themselves — on and off the field.

Through qualified coaching and age-appropriate pathways, our players build strong fundamentals, game understanding, and self-belief in a safe, supportive environment. Fun, teamwork, and fair play sit at the core of every session. Whether a child is brand new to rugby or comes from a proud rugby background, everyone is encouraged to participate, improve, and enjoy the game. Families from all walks of life — including those new to the sport and expats from rugby nations — find a genuine sense of belonging at Racing.

Our juniors have gone on to achieve representative honours in Victoria and with the Melbourne Rebels, celebrated Rugby 7s success, and claimed a U11 premiership in 2022. While we’re proud of these milestones, our true measure of success is seeing confident kids running onto the field, backing themselves, supporting their teammates, and loving their rugby.

As a community-led club, we actively partner with local schools and sports providers to introduce rugby through school programs and after-school care. We run gala days, skills academies, and holiday clinics to make it easy for kids to try rugby — and even easier to stick with it.
